SUMMER REGISTRATION PACKET DISTRIBUTION

Summer Registration Packets for San Juan Hills High School will be available for pick-up at the school site on the dates listed below:

• Tuesday, August 5, 2008 - 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
• Wednesday, August 6, 2008 - 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm
• Thursday, August 7, 2008 - 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

The summer registration packet will contain documents necessary to complete the summer registration process (i.e. emergency card and other pertinent forms, school pictures, student ID, purchase of yearbook, PE uniform, etc.)

PSAT   

The preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) measures the skills your student has developed over the course of his/her education.  These include: Critical reading skills, Math problem-solving skills and Writing Skills.  The PSAT/NMSQT is the best preparation for the SAT.  Students take the test in the eleventh grade to qualify for the National Merit Scholarship Corporation’s scholarship programs.  Students can also benefit from taking the test in the tenth grade and sooner because they’ll get personalized feedback on the academic skills needed for college.  By taking the test before the eleventh grade, students have more time to develop these skills and to begin the college planning process.You may purchase your PSAT test on line CLICK HERE AND GO DIRECTLY TO OUR WEB STORE TO RESERVE YOUR SPOT
